Component Identification - Wires, Boards & Connectors
Course Code: CID-IV
Audience
One of a set of five interactive multimedia programs for electronic assembly
operators and others, who deal with electronic components in their work.
Objectives
Participants successfully completing these programs will be able to:
- Describe the construction and function of wires and boards
- Match wire and cable types with their name and description
- Describe the relationship of function, size, and rating for wires and cables
- Describe fibre as an alternate method of transmitting information
- Describe the construction of printed circuit boards
- Describe, with examples, the function and construction of connectors
- Match the name, function, and an example for various connector types
