Audience
The Spanish-language adaptation of the comprehensive interactive multimedia learning program for those who work with static sensitive devices. The training is directed to assemblers and support personnel.
Objectives
Participants successfully completing the program will be able to demonstrate and explain:
- Conditions most likely to cause uncontrolled electrostatic discharge
- Use of three types of ESD protective packaging
- Use of ionization and topical antistats for static control
- Impact of environmental factors on static charge
- Function of ESD protective items in a protected area
- Requirements of an ESD protective workstation
- Correct use of ESD protective smocks, wrist straps, and footwear
- Personal protection and high voltage hazards
- Recommended ESD protective practices at workstations
Standards
Control de la descarga electrostática conforms to the IPC 610 ESD guidelines
as well as the guidelines of the EOS / ESD Association including S-2020.
